Due to its size and weight, it is very fast, though lacking a hyperdrive, and only armed with two fixed forward-facing CMF light blasters. Due to its lack of a hyperdrive and its recommended crew of three, there are four small, separate rooms aft of the cargo bay, to the sides of the loading ramp. As indicated by its separate crew quarters, the Beast is very roomy, having an airlock/foyer in the stern with doors to the sides giving passage to the quarters and small storage closets, followed by the cargo bay through large, sliding double doors, preceding a small room for recreation and access to the life support, artificial gravity, and engine, and finally the surprisingly cramped two-seater cockpit. Sleeker, more comfortable, and larger than its competitor, the MTR-82 Spacehawk, but lacking a hyperdrive, the JN316 is a very good choice for the upstart cargo hauler. |
