RE: The Mist of Wist

Szyren is brought through the same set of blast doors and left just outside the overlook while her new pirate friend steps inside to make good use of the chain of command.  Eventually, Imelda will be informed that at least one of her... err... captives is waiting nearby for a nice little face to face chat.

Szyren hopes Neil will find his way up here eventually, or hop on to the nearest pirate passing by and demand safe passage out of the hanger.

Szyren has never really been one for waiting, though, and instead of hanging about until the captain feels like talking to her, she steps onto the overlook and gets a good look at the woman speaking into the panel.  She takes a daring few steps and, if she isn't stopped by some officer lackey, she'll wind up standing right behind Imelda, fearless as always.

If she is stopped, well, that's a different story.

RE: The Mist of Wist

Truth coughed a bit. He turned his chair towards the comm link flipping another switch on the voice scrambler to change his voice to a gruff human male.
"Hello... eh Red Water never heard of you. As you see me and my family are in a bit of trouble." He takes a pause and changes his voice to a young child "daddy is the big ship gonna help us?". Truth changes it back "not now honey. We took a wrong turn and accidently ran through an asteroid field on our way to Aikon and well...our ship was basically destroyed we can't make a atmospherical landing without our ship falling apart so we were hoping that you could allow us to dock and possibly repair our ship or something. Please we don't know how much longer untill our entire ship falls apart".

He waits for an answer whilst taking the safety off all his weapons via his stopwatch. He finds a suitable trench coat and dons it along with his fingerless gloves. He puts the pistol in his pocket, he hides the Wraith in the right leg witch he had cut a pocket in large enough for the Wraith, he puts the Lanus mirror to the Wraith in a setup similar for the Wraith. He hides the Pairell in a hidden compartment on the side of his ship right under a laptop attached to the wall. He pockets his Maglite in his Trenchcoat's vest pocket. He sits back down in the cockpit seat typing away at his computer locking any important data and making fake data incase they search his ship.

RE: The Mist of Wist

Imelda stood listening to the man plead for help on the connected line. If you listened closely you could almost hear her say something about "Flistna Central Station".

As she is talking Szyren walks up towards her. Two officers step in front of her and block her path. They look down at her, and shake their heads in fatherly fashions, giving her that "Silly child" look. You know the look.

Imelda: I am sorry. My ship, the Red Water is a pirate ship. Not a Red Cross vessle. I know they have the same first word, but trust me... far different. I do not give out free parts to passers-by. I take what I want, and float the junk out to space. Besides, I cannot promise we would even have the parts for your make and model of ship... Now, if you still insist on landing, you will be searched for weapons and your ship will be dismantled for parts, if we deem it worthy.

She turns around...

Imelda: Speaking of searching, search them.

She turns back towards the monitor.

Imelda: So, I leave it up to you.

RE: The Mist of Wist

Neil has just finally found his way through the door and into the overlooking room when men flock toward him and one begins to feel him up—or pat him down, whichever.

Neil: Whoa, hey now. I don't even know your name.

The pirate, thoroughly creeped out, finishes patting him down from as far away as he can. He finds the Glock in his waistband holster and rips it out, handing it to one of the other guys. Neil shrugs, making an innocent face.

Neil: An honest mistake. Now, we have to do some serious talking about your hospitality. I mean, clearly you should have hot women patting me down. This would go a long way toward the cooperation of the people you pillage and murder. But that's just me.

Szyren, as she is being patted down, resists the urge to throw someone over her shoulder.  She could do it, but it might make things less civil.  And Neil stole her one-liner, so she just stands there until they're done.  Her hidden toys remain hidden.  The word for what she thinks of this has to be amused.

A pirate removes from her her backpack and rummages through it.  He must not like what he finds, because he decides to keep it instead of giving it back.

Szyren: I have not explosive things in there too... Give me my towel at least.

The pirate just raises an eyebrow and zips her pack back up before slinging it over his shoulder.

Szyren: Bully face.

She is also parted with her gun.  What a shame.

Szyren: Just don't put it near an open flame, or you'll be in big fragging trouble.

The pirate guards that stopped her exchange glances that might be construed as disdain, or mild concern.  She gives them a little wave.

By now, she has pulled her bandana back up and looks much less like a bandito.

Szyren: Hey Neil, glad you made it. Happy

RE: The Mist of Wist

He sighs as he leans back in his chair, analyzing the situation. Truth types away at his computer downloading all of the information back to Kai's personnal computer. He then erases the data and smashes the laptop hanging from the wall. He turns off the voice changer and replies to Imelda "listen this obliviously isen't going to work..." he leans forward trying to think of the right words "perhaps a trade? I don't have any money and this ship is worth less than nothing, so I offer my services.". He coughs a bit and continues "I am a capable assasin, anything computer related I can do, and most engineering problems, well I can fix stuff. I can do a wide variety of things, actually so I'm sure we could work something out". He sits back and waits for an answer hoping that he worded it well. HE then remembers that he should add something "in exchange for room and board, of course just until my ship is fixed it doesn't have to be perfect just the best your guys can do. Is it a deal?"

RE: The Mist of Wist

Imelda: I will let you on my ship, but you will be kept in a holding cell. I do not like having an Assassin aboard my ship, when for all I know, you could have a contract on me. There are lots of people that would like to see me dead, I am sure.
Bring your ship into the hangar, and do not move until my crew has your ship secured, and have you surrounded. Failure to comply could be catastrophic to your health.

Imelda cuts the connection and mumbles under her breath some more. Obviously not liking the turn of events.
She turns to Szyren and Neil.

RE: The Mist of Wist

There's no way in heck Neil is drinking pirate tea.

Neil: Yes, I'd love some.

Upon receiving a teacup full of liquid, he leans very conspicuously toward Szyren and whispers loudly.

Neil: It's probably poisoned.

He straightens himself out, throws the tea over his shoulder, and makes eye contact with Imelda.

Neil: I forget. What were we doing?

Imelda glares at Neil for a moment, obviously overhearing his remark about poisoned tea. She takes a big gulp of it.

Imelda: What were we doing? That is a very good question, that I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to. What are you doing here?

She takes another sip of tea and sits down in a chair. She looks back and forth at them, waiting for an answer.

Neil points at Szyren with his thumb.

Neil: I was carting her around because I'm such a nice guy.

His voice is humorless.

Neil: Then you came along and it was like Rogaine all up ins.

Undoubtedly, nobody understands that comment. He doesn't care.

Neil: What we were doing here? Best to ask her.
