RE: The Streets of Kepp

"All right, rookie... go ahead and sit it out for now and watch." The man lead the rookie out of the ring and the rest of the men gathered around her. One of them smirked and got into a combat stance, the others following suit soon after, all heavily padded. "Ready, Ms. Riko?" one asks in a sarcastic tone, obviously having done this several times before.

""As always..." she commented with some amusement in her tone as well. Before one knew it, all of them were moving to her, like a well-oiled machine. It was easy to tell all these men were mostly very experienced military soldiers, using formations and tactics without a second thought. For most people, this'd be way too much, even for the expert street fighter.

For Yamada though, this was just perfect.

One came and she dodged the attack, grabbing him and whirling him into another, tripping yet another before the men started to back off some and gather their ranks. She did it was such graceful ease, that it was almost unbelievable, looking like she weighed so much less then these men. The men didn't even blink at this, as if it were normal to them.

Again, they swarmed, in full force this time looking like a powerful win all or lose all tactic. The young woman weaved through them with such speed that for human reactions, it'd be almost hard to follow her without full concentration, landing successful blows that made several audioable 'thuds.' There was something odd about how she fought though. She seemed to have a specific style one based on speed, only aided by her uncommon strength, but the attacks she actually used were random. There didn't seem to be any pattern to her attacks and her eyes were always on the enemy at hand, even if she was aware of someone behind her, she never took her eyes off of her target. It was hard to divulge any more information from the fighting style without asking questions.

Within a minute or so, all the men had technically been beaten, either by being knocked down or knocked out of the circle. The whole time, Yamada only having stepped into the second circle, showing great control over her own area in combat. Barely a sweat was on the woman's head as she smiled lightly to the men and returned to her calm posture, barely a wrinkle in her dress as well. "Good match, Ms. Riko, as always," one said warmly as she nodded and head back to the instructor and Terrathel.

"Well done! Nothing less from you, Ms. Riko. Well, that's all that was needed for today ... I think the general said you could have the rest of the day off, if you wished." He smiled and patted her shoulder before walking into the distance with the other men that she had just fought.

She turns to Terrathel and examines him calmly for a few moments. "Do you want me to show you to your room, Terrathel?" she asked politely.

random patterns swirling in his head, numbers being digested, tendencies... Terrathel couldn't quite manage not to look somewhat overwhelmed, and simply nodded, picking up his meager possessions, he prepared to follow this rapid switching crazy, amazing human contrivance wherever it led him next.

He tried to put as many of the equations into the back of his mind as possible so that he could study everything as he had been, but it was only partially successful. He watcher her walk, and began another equation calculating the density of those muscles to produce such force... then that thought was slammed WAY into the back of his mind. needles to say this was a woman of firsts, battling his own mind for the first time he followed her half numbly.

At this point, there seems to be many more questions than answers as Yamada lead no hesitation as she quietly lead him onwards to his room. They first entered the main building which held mostly living quarters, information gathering, paperwork, and dining rooms before heading to the spiral staircase in the middle that assumingly lead up to the main tower. It only seemed to be the second floor before they stopped and went down one of two hallways.

Soon enough, the one hallway split into another one towards the left, but Yamada stopped here, opening the door. It held a comfortable enough bed, a nice looking desk, a window for looking down at the courtyard, and carpeting. The color scheme seemed to be a very dark blue - almost black and had a single light in the middle of the room. She stepped aside inside the room to let the bio shell begin unpacking his things. "Do you need anything else? Maybe some help?" she asked calmly as she watched Terrathel, closely as usual.

He circled the room, and looked out the window, checking the view, and checked for security devices installed on the window. He then placed his bag, gun, sword, grenades, and unstrapped his knives, pulling them out of his sleeves, and placing them on the bed too, an ally like her needs to know what armament he has, and know when he is, (and when he isn't) going for one.

In response to her question. "yes, at some point, preferably today, I will need to see your room, I need to know the layout. He was serious about protecting her, and he could do it best with all the details at hand. He forced all the extraneous thoughts aside with difficulty, he needed to concentrate right now.

She obviously made note of the weapons as he placed them out on the bed and nodded lightly to him. "Since there's nothing else I'm required to do, we can go now, if you want. It's right next to yours," she explains as she gestures south, having entered the room facing the west. If it hadn't been obvious before, his room was actually located in the corner, nested between the two hallways and was in the north-west corner of the tower. As for the window, it seemed to have advanced locks placed onto them, making it much harder than usual to break in. That and it seem reinforced with laser-proof glassing, though it made the actual tint of the glass a noticeable blue.

Unlike him, she didn't seem to be having any troubles what-so-ever, making it seem like she knew a lot more about this situation than he did.

He nods, nothing to hide that is in the open normally is a good sign. He approved of the security in his room, and was sure hers was even better secured, but intended to give it a more thorough working over than his own room. He attached the knives onto his hips, glanced at her as if trying to determine what she would do on her day off, and resettles the katana on his back, leaving the satyr on his bed.

He then exits his room and waits for her to open hers.

She nods a bit in return and exits his room after him, politely closing the door for now and walking only about five feet before opening the door to her room. As one would imagine, it wasn't so lifeless as his.

First the window was the same exact, though set more towards the middle of the wall than his and the color seemed to be a very light blue - almost white - apparently an opposite to his own room. The carpeting seemed a little nicer as well and the walls seemed to be lined with a shiny coat of something. Yamada tapped this lightly, soon making it obvious it made the room a bit stronger in some manner. Some cameras hung from the corner of her ceiling, reinforced, but otherwise it looked normal.

Her bed was kept nice, neat, and made, sharing the same color scheme as the room itself and a computer sat on her desk - a fairly upgraded one at that, a stereo as well as a small shelf that consisted of many books, mostly fiction of some kind. Besides a few snacks here and there and a dresser and mirror, that was all there was in her room.

He nodded his thanks, checking all the details, the window set in the middle for laser, or motion sensor security, with the other precautions in place, he was relatively certain that nothing would access her room directly, so he had only one entrance to watch, aside from his other duties.

Once he had finished he nodded to himself again. "That is all I need, thank you. Sorry to impose on your little free time." With that he prepared to follow her wherever she spent the rest of her day. Serious and dedicated to his work, even without strict programming.

"No, it's all right," she reassures him causally and looks around her room, as if deciding what she actually wanted to do. She turns to Terrathel and smiles a little. "I'm going to go visit Mary," she exclaims to him and gently exits the room, waiting for him to follow as well. She closed the door and began her way down the staircase, glancing back to see if he was following or not.

Eventually, they made their way to one of the buildings off to the side and Yamada opened the door, holding it long enough for the bio shell to grab it and let himself in. Inside seemed to be a hospital, though highly advanced, with only a couple of injured men. It was very straight-forward, beds lines up on either side of the walls and looked like a giant hallway, with equipment in the middle and presumbly operation rooms in some of the doors in the back, though some looked like offices.

Yamada headed back towards one of them and knocked lightly on the half-open door before poking herself in with a smile. "Yamada!" a voice echoes from inside the office, the blinds folded down on the inside of the window. When Terrathel got the chance to open the door all the way, he'd see them hugging and smiling before parting the embrace.

Mary was a young woman as well, maybe twenty-three or so and held tanned skin with fiery red hair. Her eyes sparkled green and the whole aura she produced was cheery and happy. "Been a while since you had time to visit me, hun," Mary continued in a happy voice.

"Mhm. I believe I got free time because of my new bodyguard - Terrathel." Yamada gestured to him for Mary to see, stepping aside a little as the young red head stepped right up to the Bio Shell and smiled warmly.

"Nice to meet you Terrathel! You better take good care of Yamada for me, all right?" She kept the warm smile, folding her hands behind the small of her back and locking her eyes with Terrathel, making her seem very much like a people person.

RE: The Streets of Kepp

The halls were all the same design on the route so all he had to pay real attention to was the route itself. He always followed at a discrete distance, respectful, and fairly close but never crowding in on her.

As they entered the medical ward he glanced at the patients, they appeared to be more industrial accidents than combat injuries, and they were well cared for, good signs, he was becoming impressed with this place. A ghost of a smile hit his face as he opened the door the rest of the way, and saw the two girls hugging, good, she does have people to open up to as well some of his non-safety related concerns for her faded. The smile got bigger despite itself with the redhead's response.

"I fully intend to, but from what I've seen I'll have to work hard to match her if something goes wrong." It was mostly true, she was wonderfully trained, and very powerful, but he was far more experienced. He only exaggerated a little for her friend's benefit.

He'd neglected to change out of his assassin garb, but on the way he'd loosened the strips of cloth that held his sleeves and pant legs close, so it just looked like dark colored but only slightly unusual clothing. However he'd forgotten about the cloth mask hanging around his neck, he untied the back of it now and stuck it in a pocket.
