What goes on in this chat thread?  Hmm, idle banter and complaints of dullness and boredom.   Well, sign me up, I guess. I'm hiding from my two thesis projects at the moment.  Been hiding since I got Fallout3 last week.  Sometimes you just really don't feel like working, right?   Two projects to do, a video game to do the AI for, pfff.   Maybe it's the nightfall at 4 o'clock and the nearly perpetual darkness that creates.  Maybe it's the fact that my projects are due in June and nobody knows or cares if I do nothing for a week.  Or a month or two, even.  Maybe it's my housemate who broke into tears last night for no apparent reason when we were chilling out and having tea after her birthday party. Maybe it's too much coffee making it hard to focus.   Hey, I made a new character a little while ago, and I haven't introduced him into the world yet.  Maybe I'll do that, although I haven't been feeling so inspired.  I tried to find a good story to parallel as an introduction, but nothing I read really popped out as appropriate or especially interesting.  Well, maybe it's time to just write something. Maybe I've overused the word "maybe" in this post...

Glad you joined the chat thread, it was boring with just me and Chris. I should have posted yesterday, but I spent most of the day blazing through Gears of War 2 with Wolf. Speak of the devil... Wolf, get out of here with your... giant... friggin' title. Before it swallows me. And I have to use my gun-mounted chainsaw to cut out its three hearts.

But we quit since we had been playing for seven hours on hardcore. We then played for an hour and a half more going through 18 waves of Horde.

I opened the ports, messed all around with it, and the Xbox Live connection test is still telling me "NAT: Strict". WHAT THE HECK.

I lost the cords to my PS1 when we moved.... that's the most advanced console I ever owned..... but I do own 2 ps2 games (I use my brother in law's when I go to his place) Disgaea and Psy Ops, I never played gears of war, even when I borrowed my friend's xbox, or ps2 though, the thing with first person shooters is, I'm pretty good at them, but I'm always lost, I can never tell where I am, or where I'm supposed to go, unless there's a map.... which I am constantly looking at if there is, in linear first person shooters (where you can't get lost) I've been found going the wrong direction numerous times....
