RE: The Waiting Game

The Spacehawk had landed and the workers are hauling the broken Greywolf in to the cargo bay with the grappling equipment from inside.

Jonall watches standing on the sandy dunes, listening to the communications going over the airwaves.

Worker: Mr Jonall!

The worker says huffing and puffing, struggling to catch his breath.

Jonall: Yes?
Worker: The vessel has been loaded sir.
Jonall: Thank you, Take this to your chieftain.

Jonall hands over the map with the coordinates of the other crash sit on it.
Including the crash site location he has written a little note, stating:-

"Great Chieftain, My name is Jonall Fibbs.
This frequency 1254.098.1112 is the communication channel for Mr Roberts of the Moon Street society, Please state I gave you this channel, We will be able to supply you with arms, medical supplies and technology, thank you for everything.
Jonall Fibbs"

Jonall: Heres 200 Tape to share between you, make sure this map is handed to your chieftain and on my next visit you will be rewarded greatly.
Worker: Yes sir

The workers run off towards the settlement with two bottles of water that Jonall had given them.
He enters the cockpit of the Spacehawk and begins to lift off heading to the atmosphere.

Jonall: You win some and you loose some

Listening to the radio communications Jonall believes they are bringing a tank like vehicle to bombard the medical centre.

((-200 tape and 2 water bottles))

RE: The Waiting Game

Asmod: I believe we are screwed.

Ducking by one of the busted out windows, Malcolm mutters under his breath.

Malcolm: You might be.
Doctor: Okay. Your best option is probably to hide. But... I don't know--
Receptionist: We have a basement.
Doctor: ... We do?
Receptionist: Exactly! If they go down there, no one will ever find them.
Doctor: But we still need to let those psychos outside know nobody's here and they can stop shooting up my clinic.
Receptionist: Well, let's take one thing at a time! Everybody back here.

She waves them behind the counter. They hurry over, Malcolm attempting to not use his right leg; doctor's orders. The receptionist grabs a crowbar from behind her desk and fits it under a lip in one of the tiles. Four of the floor tiles lift up as a hatch, leading directly into the unfinished basement.

Doctor: Where did you get that crowbar?
Receptionist: I keep it so I can get down there if--

She lowers her voice to a whisper.

Receptionist: --if Jeff ever comes in.
Doctor: Ooohhh.

The orcs and Malcolm have somehow managed to cram themselves through the hole in the floor. Malcolm gives the receptionist a thumbs up to close the hatch.

The entire building begins to shake and the roar of a very powerful diesel engine comes from outside. The shooting seems to have died down. A voice comes over a megaphone.

Voice: If anyone is alive in there, be warned, you will be blasted by a 120mm tank shell if my entry team has to come back out again. Understood?

Another flashbang comes through the window, but the doctor, the nurse, and the receptionist know at this point to cover their eyes and ears. The same entry team busts in, ready to rock and roll.

The clinic staff is on the floor with their hands on their heads.

Armed man: Where are the Droogs?!
Doctor: There were no Droogs here.

Malcolm listens carefully to the commotion above.

Jonall brings the Spacehawk into a high orbit, Still listening to communications over the airwaves.

Something goes over the airwaves, it is fuzzy but Jonall believes he heard something about the medical centre team reporting the three men wern't Droogs.
Jonall keeps listening, Relising that if the Cheiftain does believe them he may have the map with Jonall's Identity on it.

Jonall: Dang!

RE: The Waiting Game

Team leader: What do you mean there were no Droogs here? We received intel from a government agent from Perrenor that several Red Droogs had come to this clinic for medical attention. My entry team saw them and were nearly killed.
Doctor: How was your entry team nearly killed? Nobody in this building ever fired a shot. You blighters are the ones who tore up my clinic for no apparent reason!

The team leader ignores him.

Team leader: So where did those three patients go? The man and two orcs?
Doctor: I've only had one patient today and he already left. He wasn't a Red Droog.
Team leader: I know you're lying. Why are you covering for them?
Doctor: I'm not lying. Now, unless you're going to do it, get out so I can clean up my clinic.

The team leader turns to his men.

Team leader: Search the entire building. Every dadgum cupboard.

Malcolm squints, trying to figure out for what insane reason this guy is so gung-ho about a few people that didn't do anything, but he comes up with nothing.

RE: The Waiting Game

Jonall listens on the airwaves, He hears the firing has stopped and now they are doing a full search of the medical facility.

Jonall decides to open long range communications to Perrenor, The communication frequency opens him up to a dark figure in a suit looking back at Jonall on the display screen.

Jonall: Good Day Mr Roberts
Mr Roberts: Good Day Jonall, This is not your normal communication channel.
Jonall: Yes Mr Roberts, It is of a Spacehawk I've aquired whilst trying to hunt some slaves for trade which has gone a bit topsey turvey.
Mr Robets: I see, Do you still have the proto-type fighter?
Jonall: Yes Mr Roberts, It is the cargo bay of the Spacehawk, It will need repairing, I have all so made freinds with a cheiftain of a settlement in Torbald looking to buy weapons.
Mr Roberts: Oh really, I take it is not Anoor Rahill.

Mr Roberts Chuckles.

Mr Roberts: What are you doing in Meeriad any way? No matter, I need you on an urgent mission.
It will increase Moon Streets power amongst the system greatly if completed.

Jonall: Yes what is it Mr Roberts?
Mr Roberts: I have sent a a group of five Thunderbirds, holding five of our best mercenaries... You are to join them in Dankton, we recieved a strange reading from a power source similer to one of our artifacts, this artifact is one of great power but ours has never really worked.
Find the holder of this artifact and bring it to us!
Once we have this artifact we will all so take this group that has cause you so much trouble too.
Jonall: Yes Mr Roberts, I will rendevoe with the mercs, any one I know?
Mr Roberts: Yes, Jones, Chi-Nah, Wasp, Lanita and Bobba.

Jonall turned of the communications and radioed through to the cheiftain.

Jonall: Please could you inform Mr Roberts of any updates with the agents, He would love them to be held prisoner.

Jonall started to set a heading for a landing site on Dankton, The turbulance from the atmosphere was rough for the old Spacehawk but Jonall knew their was great importance in this mission and was a true believer in the greater good of the Moon Street.

RE: The Waiting Game

Anoor Rahill was flying across the desert in his Hunter, looking at the horizon of the sun and dunes.

He was on a meeting to talk trades with a fellow cheiftain who had been having trouble with the Droog.

The Droog were allies with Anoor Rahill and so was this cheiftain, Both feared Rahill as the Militia Rahill controlled was loyal and vast.

Rahill spotted the settlement from the cockpit visor, he could see some sort of skirmish had been going on... not that he feared as Anoor believed himself to be the greatest warrior that ever lived.

He landed the Hunter out side the settlement and walked towars the gates were the guards automatically opened the gates for him.

Armed guard: let me take you straight to the cheiftain Great Rahill.
Anoor Rahill: NO, Take me to the skirmish, I wish to see it.
Armed guard: But Great Rahill, it is a dangerous skirmish facing between agents of smugglers and our finest guard.
Anoor Rahill: Pesent, do you want to die in my bare hands?
Armed guard: No great Rahill.

The guard paniced

Anoor Rahill: Good, so take me were I desire.

Anoor Rahill and the amred guard walked, heading towards the medical centre were they could see it being surrounded by guardsmen and a primitive tank.

Anoor Rahill: Who exactly are you trying to hunt?
