RE: Take back the city

"Seeing that Ghost is their target, I doubt that second option would get us too far. Someone is bound to recognize him. I prefer the idea of not being seen." Ghost unclipped the magazine on his assault rifle, checked the ammo count, then slapped it back in and cocked the action. He then pulled out the silencer and screwed it onto the barrel. "Oh, and android: try to stick to more quite methods of defence," Deon said, nodding towards the blasters, "at least until we want them to know we're there." With that, he and Ghost began their approach.

Travis nodded and drew a beam saber and drew a knife with his left hand, resting his thumb on the blade trigger of the beam saber.

He dashed between the shadows and waited for the other three to get in place.

"I gess you guys are right." MK2 said.

He slung the lern onto his back, and started to twist his arms in humanly impossible ways.

"I guess we could probably sneak in through the supply dock at the back, where the supply trucks come in from. Other than that, I've got no more ideas that wouldn't cause a ruckuss. Lets get moving" MK2 said wlking towards where Travis went

RE: Take back the city

Travis leaned against the wall in the shadows of the nightclub's supply dock.

He watched as 2 guards chatted across a steel door, sidestepping closer.  As he neared the door, he noticed an infrared array in front of the door, next to a keypad.

Travis looked around the area.  He noticed the light, a relic among lighting fixtures.  It was a simple one-point source. Travis did the math.  No cameras were trained on the door, hence the two guards, so it would be easy to take out a single guard.  Two would make it very easy to flub up.  Especially if they decided to take a couple short steps to the left while one was busy being rendered useless.

He paused and waited for the other three to get in place.

RE: Take back the city

Deon and Ghost had knelt down on the opposite side of the dock to Travis. They had thought of trying to signal him, but decided against the risk. A short survey of the area revealed only two guards, each wielding some kind of assault rifle.

Deon turned to Ghost and whispered to him to knife one guard at the exact moment he shot the other. Ghost wasn't exactly a crack shot, but Deon doubted even he could miss with a knife. A few very tense seconds went past before Ghost was crouching beside his target. Ghost reached around and pulled the knife through his victim's chest. His comrade faced to see what the sound was, only to recieve a bullet to the head. With a second shot, Deon shattered the light.

"Now it's my turn" MK2 said, walking to the door. He stepped up to the control pannel and stuck a jack that came from his arm into a port on the pannel. A few seconds later, a green light goes on the pannel.

"There we're in-" MK2 said, but the door flew open, revealing a thug on the other side. He gave a startled shout, but was stopped a hard wack! From MK2.

"they probably didn't hear that, but I don't want to take any chances" MK2 said, dragging the bodies so that they were hidden from sight.

"lets go."

"Nice," Travis said quietly, watching the others take down the two guards and the one in the room.

He walked forward into the room, but jumped back behind a corner.  Holding up a hand to stop the others.  An audible whine of machinery came from around the corner.

"Autoturret.  It's ceiling mounted, so it may have a blind spot.  MK, way you could hack it?"

"Give me a moment" MK said, and began scanning the area around he turret.

"Ifound the pannel for it, but there's no way of getting to it without getting shot to pieces from where we are.I need a distraction" he said looking at the group.

"Okay, let me think."

Travis stood up and drew a beam saber and stuck the beam around the corner, trying to draw fire, about three bullets buried themselves in the wall across the hall.

"Well, definitely won't be able to break through without heavy armor... is it a thermal camera?"

Travis sighed, and whispered halfheartedly to the others, "Never let yourself be talked out of buying a stack of Jammer grenades.  You never know when you're gonna be taking on an autoturret."

"Never let yourself be talked out of buying a stack of Jammer grenades.  You never know when you're gonna be taking on an autoturret."

Ghost looked at Travis.
Then he looked towards the jammer grenade strapped to his hip.
Then back to Travis.
"I guess this is my cue...." he said with a smile.
He unstrapped the grenade from his belt, pressed the ignition and tossed it around the corner.
"Let's move!"
